Poisoned, Gassed, or Overdose Forum   Favorite Poisoning Scenarios

Hi all. Since we all share this same interest, I'd be interested to hear group members' favorite poisoning scenarios. I'll start with mine:

I've always loved the idea of an unaware victim being poisoned by her drink. The best is an overconfident femme fatale who has no idea the hero is onto her, though I also enjoy an innocent victim who falls afoul of the wrong people. Either way, I love watching the slow realization that she's dying come over a heretofore oblivious woman. Our victim thinks she's just taken a harmless drink until she feels a slight gurgle in her stomach. She tries to ignore it but her belly starts to burn, which soon escalates to a stabbing pain in her abdomen. "Uhhh! My stomach!" our victim groans. She feels her abdomen becoming rigid and her lungs tightening as it gets harder to draw breath. "I..can't breathe!" gasps our victim as her throat begins to swell shut. She squirms and writhes, clutching at her stomach and throat as she chokes and croaks, coughing up fluids until she arches her back and expires with a final rattling groan.

So that's what I like to see, look forward to reading others'!
